Ministries for children and families on Sundays

Our children are a key part of the Parafield Gardens Uniting Church family and deserve our best in serving them and developing their faith.

Creche
There is a crèche for children under 3 every Sunday morning during our worship service.

God’s Kids
God’s Kids is our dynamic Sunday morning programme for children from 3yrs of age to year 7.  God’s Kids provides a biblically based, safe, creative, fun, age relevant and nurturing programme each week during school terms. 

The children begin with the whole church family in worship for abut 15 mins and then move out to God’s Kids.  They rejoin their families at the end of the service.   Parents are welcome to help settle their children in or stay when their children are new to God’s Kids.

We also seek to involve our children in worship in different ways through out the year. 

During school holidays services are planned to engage children in worship or other activities are planned during the service just for them.

SMALL BEGINNINGS PLAYGROUP

                For Families with children from birth to 5yrs

MONDAYS from 10-11.30am during school terms, excluding Public holidays.

Our aim is to provide a fun and positive learning and social experience in a friendly atmosphere.  To encourage and enable parents and their children to grow, learn and play together.

Fees are $3 per week/per family.  First visit is FREE.

               All cultures and families welcome.

KINDERPRAISE

                For families with preschool aged children

TUESDAYS from 10-11.30am during school terms, excluding Public holidays.

Looking for more than just a playgroup?  Would you like a safe place to explore spirituality? 

This is a non threatening mix between playgroup and church.  Make a craft, enjoy a time of singing and interactive teaching.  We desire to strengthen families and build stronger communities as we breakdown the stigma attached to 'church'.

               *  NO FEES FOR THIS GROUP *

FIRST BEGINNINGS BABY PLAYGROUP

                For families with babies from birth to 18months

WEDNESDAYS from 10-11.30am during school terms, excluding Public holidays.

BabyPlaygroup provides parents with a safe place to share quality time with their baby, to extend social networks and provide support and encouragement in a friendly atmosphere.

Fees are $3 per week/per family.  First visit is FREE.
